We each did a car for the other from our layouts.
Allen rusted up a Rock Island boxcar for me and patched it for the Kyle Railroad; I often see these cars here in Denver and it wasn't a stretch to say they could end up on the layout in Arizona.
I rusted an older Santa Fe hopper and patched it for my railroad the ARZC. The ARZC didn't have a lot of cars they owned, but the ones they did were mostly of AT&SF origin.
